A new way to travel economically is to find accommodation in a very comfortable private house. The thing is possible if you can choose a Bed & Breakfast place, where a familiar service of beds and breakfast is offered. Our B&B is regularly registered at A.P.T. (Azienda Promozione Turistica) of Padua. It is a fenced in country house: our guests can find beds, a bathroom, a breakfast room, an independent entrance, a park for cars or motorcycles, a garden for children games. It is quite suitable for a tourism of friends or families that love quietness.
ART ITINERARY
The town of Padua gives you the opportunity to see the Scrovegni Chapel frescoed by Giotto, the Saint Anthony's Basilica with exceptional masterpieces inside it, the unique Palazzo della Ragione, famous for its hip roof, Prato della Valle which is the biggest sqare in Europe. At Monselice you can visit the Castle and the sacred way of the Seven Little Churches (Le Sette Chiesette); at Este the beautiful Gardens and the famous Civic Museum. Montagnana is a celebrated place for its ancient Walls and the Euganean Hills for their thermal baths. Then it is easy to reach Venice, Vicenza, Rovigo, Ferrara and Bologna.
NATURALISTIC ITINERARY
We can suggest a trip on the Euganean Hills on foot or by bicycle among the oaks or the chestnuts. The many monasteries are looked after by the monks and they are very beautiful. You can also pay a visit to the spas in Abano and Montegrotto. The beaches are quite near: Venice, Chioggia, Sottomarina, Isola Verde, Rosolina Mare and the Lidi Ferraresi. Don't forget to see the Delta Natural Park of the Po River and Comacchio with its ancient bridges.
AMUSEMENTS
Besides various village festivals or fairs you can amuse yourselves in the numerous discotheques that the territory offers you or the pubs where live music can be listened to. There are also some beer festivals.
